- Description: Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Requirements :
- Fifteen (15) years experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelors degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher is required. Core Tasks :
- Experience installing LINUX systems, specifically CentOS and/or RHEL.
- Skilled in troubleshooting LINUX performance issues, storage problems, and network connectivity.
- Experience in maintaining, building, and troubleshooting virtual machines (VMs).
- Proficiency in writing and using shell scripts.
- Apply system patches using YUM.
- Capable of reading vulnerability reports and addressing IAVA compliance and POA&Ms.
- Familiarity with BISCOTTI and LATTEART tools is expected.
- Experience with STE tools such as TRELLIS agent, Nessus, ENSL, and UAM.
- Experienced in conducting SecurityCenter scans.
- Able to administer and monitor systems using Nagios.
- Responsible for renewing and revoking PKI server certificates.
- Familiarity with using Ansible playbooks and executing ad-hoc Ansible commands is necessary.
- Experience in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Confluence.
- Proficient with GIT at an intermediate level, including tasks such as check-in/check-out, branching, tagging, and creating repositories.
Salary : $185,000 - $205,000
