Role Overview
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for generating and tracking qualified appointments across multiple lead sources to increase revenue, optimizing our marketing spend, and ensuring maximum ROI along with increasing our credibility through reviews. This role requires a data-driven, hands-on leader who can manage digital and offline marketing, oversee our online reputation, and deliver clear reports on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Appointment Setting
Ensure we generate 20 appointments per day / 100 per week using :
Call center
Lead services (Angi, Networx, Thumbtack, etc.)
Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Local Service Ads (LSAs)
Other paid and organic channels
Work with the sales team to ensure leads are contacted and scheduled efficiently.
The “appointments per day” will grow monthly - 20 is the starting point.
Tracking & Performance Analysis
Own and maintain a Lead Tracking Sheet to monitor :
Cost per Lead (CPL) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) per source
Lead-to-sale conversion rates
Revenue generated from each lead source
Overall ROI on marketing spend
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing :
Lead flow
Marketing spend
Conversion rates
Revenue impact
Digital Marketing & Ad Management
Manage and optimize our Google, Facebook, and LSA accounts to maximize appointment generation at the lowest cost.
Monitor ad performance and make real-time adjustments to improve conversion rates.
Ensure compliance with platform policies and best practices.
Online Reputation & Review Management
Oversee and improve our Trust Index by actively managing customer reviews.
Respond to all Google, Facebook, and other platform reviews (both positive and negative) in a professional and timely manner.
Develop a strategy to increase 5-star reviews across platforms.
KPIs & Success Metrics
To excel in this role, you must own the numbers and ensure :
- 20 qualified appointments per day / 100 per week
- Cost per lead (CPL) and customer acquisition cost (CAC) are optimized per source
- Lead conversion rates and revenue per lead source are improving monthly
- All marketing efforts are tracked and reported daily, weekly, and monthly
- Online reputation and review scores are consistently improving
