Overview
Cornerstone Composites is expanding its presence in the US defense market and is seeking a technical sales professional with direct composite manufacturing experience to lead growth in aerospace and defense programs. This role is for candidates who understand how composite parts are designed, molded, machine, qualified, and awarded into defense production programs.
What You’ll Do
- build and executed defense focus sales strategy
- Call on engineering, supply chain, and program management
- Engage early in design and material selection
- Drive opportunities from prototype through production
- Sell compression molded composite components, including machining and assembly
- Travel to customer sites and defense hubs as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years aerospace/defense sales experience
- Direct composite manufacturing background
- Experience selling engineered manufactured components
- Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and defense program lifecycles
This Role Is Not For
- Commodity or distributor sales reps
- Transactional sales backgrounds
- Non-technical sellers
