Commercial Kitchen Deep Cleaning & Exhaust Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform specialized, high-pressure cleaning and sanitation services for commercial kitchens across the Houston area. You will ensure facilities remain inspection-ready, and compliant with NFPA 96 fire safety codes, health department standards, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Hood Vent & Exhaust Cleaning

• Exhaust Hood Degreasing: Remove grease from hood interiors and exteriors to prevent fire hazards and maintain airflow.
• Duct & Vent Cleaning: Thoroughly clean ducts and vents to remove grease and debris, improving ventilation efficiency.
• Filter Washing & Replacement: Clean or replace exhaust filters based on condition to maintain airflow.
• Post-Cleaning Safety Inspection: Inspect the entire system post-cleaning for fire safety, airflow, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in pressure washing, hood cleaning, janitorial work. We provide comprehensive, paid training.
• Schedule: Must be available to work flexible, non-traditional hours, primarily overnight shifts when commercial kitchens are closed.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.), work on your feet for long periods, climb ladders, and safely access commercial roofs.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously clean tight spaces (ductwork) and follow strict fire safety and health regulations.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred for operating company service trucks.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
