What You Will Do…
Volunteer Management
- Enlist, equip, and empower a team of volunteers to own and lead the 5/6 Ministry and invest in the lives of students
- Carry the vision and values of the 5/6 Director to all volunteers
- Process all volunteer applications and determine appropriate fit in which to serve. Complete all onboarding for new volunteers
- Assist the 5/6 Student Ministry Pastor in volunteer training
- Be a primary communication point with volunteers through their time of service
- Partner with the 5/6 Director to execute an annual calendar of events for the 5/6 Ministry
- Invest in ongoing large and small group environments, mission trips, retreats, and outreach events
- Oversee logistics for trips and events
- Manage and update student ministry website
- Administrative duties as assigned by ministry director
- Develop and execute an annual calendar of events for the 5th/6th Ministry that works in symmetry with the ministry
- Enlist, equip and empower Kingdom Workers to accomplish various goals and projects
- Assist the Director in onboarding Student Leaders
- Oversee the team development and growth of Kingdom Workers.
- Oversee and produce the front-end of weekend service
- Emcee the weekend services, including announcements
- Develop Kingdom Workers (Student Leaders) in growing onstage abilities
- Collaborate with the ministry Director in the planning and evaluation of weekend services
- Serve as the secondary teacher for the 5/6 Ministry
- One-three years of practical ministry experience in a church larger than 1500 members
- Experience lead in a leadership role in a Student Ministry area
- Bachelor’s Degree in an area of concentration that has equipped him/her for vocational ministry, preferred.
- Must align with the vision, values, and doctrinal statement of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship
- Must be a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship who supports the vision and values
- Naturally gifted to be detail oriented
- Teachable with a willing spirit to learn
- Socially poised and confident, able to speak to large and small groups
- Takes on multiple challenges and assignments and succeeds
