The ideal candidate is a minister who canrelate well with adults and young people and volunteers. This role requires a candidate withsufficient experience in equipping people for ministry, planning and leading communityengagements, and preaching the Word of God.CRITICAL AREAS OF INFLUENCE• Senior and Young Adults• Prayer and Ministry of the Word• Community ConnectionsRESPONSIBILITIESLeadership• Help lead the church’s efforts to minister to senior and young adults.• Recruit, develop, and deploy new volunteers for the church’s ministry.• Lead efforts to engage with our communities, finding areas of service, making thechurch more visible to the neighborhood.• Regularly report to the church’s leadership about developments in the ministry.• Work with other church leaders to find ministry opportunities in the broader churchfamily and immediate community.• Lead efforts to renew and revitalize prayer gatherings.Strategic Planning• Help develop and execute a vision and strategic plan for new ministry initiatives.• In consultation with other leaders and senior church leadership, help develop an annualbudget for the ministry and operate within the constraints of that budget.• Plan and lead the development of the church's prayer ministry with a view to motivatingmembers to be active in both individual and corporate prayer.Discipleship – Evangelism – Outreach• Disciple and mentor key leaders who will disciple others.• Reach out to new residents in the community, engage them with the gospel, and involvethem in the work of the church.• Develop a Bible teaching curriculum for adults that takes into consideration thespiritual, physical, emotional, social, and mental needs of the members in ourcommunity consistent with the church’s doctrinal commitments.• Regularly lead missional activities in our community.
Salary : $27,000 - $30,000
