What You’ll Do

• Teach core elementary subjects aligned with Michigan state standards
• Integrate biblical truth throughout all areas of instruction
• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons for learners
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Foster a structured, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, consistent feedback
• Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with staff
• Contribute to curriculum planning and school improvement efforts
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development
• Use technology to enhance student learning
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (K–5 or K–8)
• Bachelor’s degree in education
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• A heart for Christian education and student discipleship
• Active involvement in a church aligned with CCS’s core beliefs
• A team-oriented, flexible mindset
