Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early intervention strategies.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize Montessori methods to facilitate hands-on learning experiences that cater to individual learning styles.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Monitor and assess student progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional development through play-based learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- DCF 40 hours is preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a private school setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and curriculum development is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous tutoring experience or involvement in educational programs is advantageous.
