Responsibilities:
- Prepare large quantities of food from established recipes and menus in adherence with National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program requirements.
- Store prepared food and serve food to customers during mealtimes and within established timeframes.
- Clean kitchen and working areas at beginning and end of shifts and throughout the day.
- Ensure food safety procedures and regulations are observed in all kitchen operations to prevent foodborne illness.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining setting.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and food presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to help with other tasks as needed, such as assisting with cleaning or supporting other kitchen staff.
