Early Childhood Education Assistant Director

The person selected for this role will be responsible for providing support to the director in the management of day-to-day operations for the preschool. This role requires primary leadership in the director's absence, supervising and training staff, maintaining licensing compliance, offer support for children, and establishing and maintaining positive relationships with families.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee daily office management (answering phones, providing tours, proficient with Microsoft Office).
• Maintain digital and physical staff and child records.
• Conduct classroom audits to ensure licensing standards are being met.
• Provide classroom assistance as needed.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process for new employees.
• Cultivate relationships with families.
• Assist with billing processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education(minimum ECE State Certificate)

Experience: Two years of teaching ECE aged children or two years of experience in administration.

Professional and Christian Conduct

• Provide example of professionalism and Christian life in all areas.
• Follow the dress code as put forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Meet STARS and licensing requirements annually.
• Attend a Bible-based Christian church regularly.

Pay: $23.50 per hour
