What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Consultant — Healthcare Sales (Case Manager) position at Cornerstone Chiropractic?
The short version: You sit across from someone who’s been in pain for years, help them understand what’s wrong, and get them to say yes to fixing it. Then you make sure they follow through. It’s consultative sales in a clinic that actually changes people’s lives, and it pays like sales.
What you’ll do
- Run the first-visit consultation with every new patient — find out what’s wrong, what it’s costing them, and what they actually want back
- Present care plans and pricing on the second visit alongside our doctor, and get patients started that day
- Handle the money conversation: cash plans, financing, objections, the spouse who isn’t sure
- Follow up with anyone who didn’t start, and keep patients on track once they have
- Ask for referrals and reviews — the people you help know people who need help
- Hit a close rate and a case-fee average, and get paid on both
What it pays
- Base pay plus an uncapped monthly incentive tied to your close rate and case value
- Realistic first-year earnings: $60K–$75K. Our top performer cleared $100K on a 30-hour week.
- Bonuses for referrals and reviews on top of that
Who this is for
- You’ve closed before — cars, insurance, fitness memberships, medical devices, home services, anything where someone had to say yes to a real number. Industry doesn’t matter. The skill does.
- You’re warm first and direct second. People open up to you in ten minutes.
- You can hear “I need to think about it” and not fold.
- You’re coachable. Every consultation is recorded, reviewed, and coached weekly — that’s how our people get good, and it’s not optional. If being evaluated makes you defensive, this isn’t the seat for you.
- You want to be measured. Your numbers will be on a scoreboard the whole team sees.
Who this isn’t for
- Someone who wants a front desk job with a nicer title
- Someone who’s uncomfortable talking about money
- Someone who needs to be told things twice
What you get
- Training from a national chiropractic coaching program, weekly 1:1 coaching, group training calls, and a structured playbook — you won’t be guessing
- A team that’s been voted Best Chiropractor in the area six times
- Core values we actually run on: Integrity, Excellent Care, Growth, Servant’s Heart, Authentic Communication, Ownership
