Compensation & Benefits:

• $65,000-75,000 base salary; commensurate with experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst  that supports the financial performance of a portfolio of home care locations by preparing P&L reviews, variance analysis, and monthly reporting. This role works under the guidance of senior finance team members while building foundational skills in operational finance.  This is a great opportunity for an early-career finance  professional to build a strong foundation in P&L analysis while gaining exposure to how our locations operate day to  day. Working closely with senior team members and the operational leaders of your locations, you will help identify  opportunities, support performance improvement efforts, and grow your skills as a finance partner to operations. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct reviews of P&L statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide financial support to Operating Directors to ensure they are properly supported.
• Respond to finance data requests from operational leaders.
• Analyze financial performance trends, variances, and key drivers impacting profitability across locations, and share insights with operational leaders and senior team members.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for your book of business by utilizing P&L trends and historical data.
• Collaborate with other finance team members to develop reports and dashboards to track financial performance and key metrics across the organization.
• Assist with monthly financial review calls with Operating Directors.
• Support delivery of P&L statement training to operational leaders to help build financial literacy across the organization.
• Participate in month-end and quarter-end financial close processes.
• Assist in special projects, financial modeling, and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field (internship experience considered).
• Working understanding of financial statements and financial reporting; GAAP exposure a plus. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to financial modeling or ERP/accounting systems is a plus. 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Comfortable communicating with non-finance operational leaders and building collaborative working relationships.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into a broader operational finance partnering role over time.
• Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year to visit office locations.
