Role Description This is a part-time, remote Caregiver role that supports seniors in maintaining independence and quality of life at home. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with personal care (such as bathing, grooming, and dressing), light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, and medication reminders according to care plans. The caregiver will provide companionship, conversation, and engaging activities to reduce isolation and promote emotional well-being. Additional duties can involve coordinating with family members, documenting care provided, and promptly communicating any changes in a client’s condition to the care team. The role requires reliability, empathy, and a commitment to delivering respectful, person-centered care.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in personal care assistance, such as help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
- Ability to perform household tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and basic home safety checks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide companionship, build rapport, and collaborate with families and care teams.
- Organizational skills for following care plans, keeping simple records, and managing time across multiple clients or visits.
- Capacity to work independently in a remote, home-based care environment while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Previous caregiving experience (professional, volunteer, or family) is preferred; experience with senior or disability care is a plus.
