Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Shift Lead to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The Shift Lead will be responsible for managing opening and closing tasks, supporting team members across various roles, and maintaining a smooth workflow throughout the shift. This position requires strong leadership skills, adaptability, and excellent customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for our customers and support a cohesive team.
Duties
- Manage opening and closing procedures to ensure operational readiness and security of the establishment.
- Support and supervise team members, filling in multiple positions such as barista or cook as needed to cover vacations and absences.
- Perform barista skills including preparing beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrate cook skills to assist in food preparation when necessary.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
- Monitor daily operations to maintain quality standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
