Job Purpose

This role is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior areas, landscaping, and general upkeep to ensure the property is kept in excellent condition for our residents and guests. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plants and Lawn Care - Attend to plants and lawn care during the appropriate seasons, ensuring a well-maintained landscape.
• Trash - Collect any trash inside and outside of the property, ensuring all trash cans are emptied regularly. Maintain cleanliness in the trash rooms by organizing, cleaning, and disposing of trash as needed.
• Leaves - Rake leaves and dispose of properly or use leaf blower on sidewalks to clear walkways.
• Sweeping - Make sure sidewalks, parking lots and carports are clean and presentable at all times.
• Gutters - Clear gutters of leaves and any extra debris.
• Lighting - Inspect and replace exterior and interior bulbs as needed to maintain proper lighting on the property.
• Attention to detail - Communicate with the management regarding any issues or maintenance that needs attention.
• Snow Removal - Help with shoveling snow from properties when necessary.
• Other Duties - Perform other duties as required to ensure the property remains well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Landscaping knowledge and experience
• Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders
• Current Driver License and reliable transportation
• Dependable, Self-motivated, Detail oriented
• Knowledge and ability to use landscaping equipment such as rakes, blowers, trimmers, shears, and a chainsaw

Compensation Package:

• Starting at $20 - $22 per hour, based on experience
• 2 weeks of Paid Time Off to start, earned on an accrual basis, Sick leave, Parental leave
• 9 Paid Holidays, including your birthday
• 401k - 100% vested after 90 days, up to a 4% match of gross salary

Working conditions
This grounds position is a roving position between multiple apartment buildings in Denver and requires an individual to be outside, working on their feet and walking for most of the day. Position is full time Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a half hour lunch.
