What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Corner Stone Pharmacy & Arms?
With pharmacy growth we are looking to add a new member to the Corner Stone Pharmily. Great customer service and some computer skills are required. Looking for somebody 1 to 3 days a week and we can be flexible with scheduling. One day per week is sufficient now but will need at least 2 days a week soon. We understand the scheduling requested will be hard to fill by a committed employee. It takes a significant amount of time to train an employee. If not looking for long-term part-time work for 2 days a week, this is not for you. We can justify 3 days a week if that is what it takes to get a committed member to the team.
Starting as a Tech in Training your responsibilities would include Ringing out customers, filling prescriptions, putting drugs to stock, inventory and learning a little about guns.
Expanding to using the computer, answering phones, inputting prescriptions and more.
Within two years the State requires you to take a simple test to become Certified Technician.
I will pay for all licensing and training. Do not let the 2-year Certification scare you. You will have everything you need from working here. Just a simple drive to Sheridan and a quick test.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
