The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning tasks — including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting — in common areas, restrooms, hallways, and other shared spaces to maintain a consistently clean environment.
- Facility Upkeep: Ensure lobbies, hallways, and restrooms are always presentable and well-maintained. Promptly identify and report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to the management team.
- Resident & Staff Assistance: Provide courteous, professional support to residents, visitors, and staff as needed, including assistance with directions and other requests.
- Stock & Supply Management: Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms and common areas as needed. Track cleaning supply inventory and proactively submit replenishment requests to avoid shortages.
- Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins on a regular schedule and ensure proper disposal of waste in designated areas in accordance with property guidelines.
- Light Repairs & Maintenance Support: Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and addressing small issues as they arise. Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs beyond the scope of this role.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor or management to support the overall operation of the community.
