Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, service-driven General Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our café locations. This leader will champion guest-first hospitality, strong team culture, and operational excellence, while working alongside the team as a hands-on barista leader.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring team builder, clear communicator, and culture carrier who leads by example and motivates others to deliver their very best each day.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team through positive, hands-on leadership.
- Foster a culture centered on guest-first service, accountability, and encouragement.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train team members for long-term success.
- Serve as a working barista leader, modeling hospitality, urgency, and teamwork during service.
Guest Experience & Community Presence
- Ensure every guest receives exceptional, friendly hometown service.
- Handle guest communication, feedback, and service recovery with professionalism and care.
- Support local marketing and social media engagement to build community connection and brand loyalty.
Operations & Financial Management
- Oversee daily café operations including scheduling, payroll, ordering, and inventory control.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and operational organization.
- Monitor financial performance, manage costs, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with ownership and leadership to ensure smooth, consistent operations across locations.
Qualifications
3 years of food & beverage or hospitality management experience (required).
- Proven leadership ability with a passion for team development and guest service excellence.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, and inventory systems.
- Coffee knowledge and culinary awareness are a plus.
