Key Responsibilities
- Provide Patient Centered Care to our patients
- Collaborate with CHM management and staff to ensure high‑quality respiratory care.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, patients, and referral sources.
- Review new respiratory orders including invasive/non‑invasive ventilators, respiratory assist devices, Telehealth equipment, and supplies.
- Contact physicians and patients to confirm appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Set up respiratory equipment and provide comprehensive patient education.
- Perform patient education, patient assessments and complete all associated clinical documentation in accordance of our COPD and Population Health programs.
- Communicate necessary updates to referral sources and physicians.
- Complete all required patient follow‑ups and document findings according to policy.
- Act as a liaison between patients, caregivers, physicians, and CHM regarding respiratory care needs.
- Drive company or personal vehicle to patient homes and care environments.
- Monitor equipment and supply inventory and ensure readiness of respiratory equipment.
- Serve as an internal resource for staff regarding respiratory conditions and equipment.
- Assist with non‑respiratory equipment delivery and setup when needed.
- Participate in process improvement activities and special projects.
- Participate in rotating evening/weekend on‑call schedule.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AARC‑approved Respiratory Therapy program.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting required.
- Minimum 1 year home respiratory care experience preferred.
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT).
- Strong understanding of COPD GOLD Standards.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must remain compliant with all regulatory, CEU, and professional requirements.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to explain equipment clearly.
- Highly organized with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills; high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Motivated, dependable, and team‑oriented with strong customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel.
Physical Requirements
- Drive for extended periods during a shift.
- Lift and transport respiratory equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, grasping.
Work Environment
- Office and retail settings, patient homes, sleep labs, and in‑vehicle travel.
- Frequent use of various respiratory equipment and computer systems.

- on-call rotation, but will not work holidays, weekends, or overnights

Salary : $66,560 - $79,040
