Duties

• Decorate cakes with intricate designs, fondant, icing, and edible embellishments to meet customer specifications and bakery standards
• Prepare baked goods, including dough preparation and pastry assembly, ensuring consistency and quality in every product
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely and efficiently
• Package finished cakes securely for delivery or pickup, maintaining presentation quality during transportation
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Follow recipes precisely to ensure flavor consistency and presentation accuracy
• Assist with food preparation tasks related to cake production and other baked goods as needed

Requirements

• Experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or baking within a food production or bakery environment
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients regarding custom cake designs and orders
• Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and recipe adherence
• Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely
• Previous catering or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
