corner market communications, the storytelling shop for food & bev cpg, is looking for a senior account executive who’s equal parts strategist, storyteller, and team leader to join our nyc-based team.  if you can build smart, snackable campaigns for brands and manage both people and platforms with ease, let’s stock the shelves together.


the ideal crewmate must be hungry to help build our new digital division, under the supervision of our ceo & head of digital. in this role, you will help set the bar for how rigorous, lateral, and creatively excellent our team can be, all while living out our core values (authenticity, agility, accountability, curiosity, and joy).

paid social & campaign execution

  • own paid social strategy across meta, tiktok, pinterest, and youtube for multiple cpg clients.
  • plan and execute full-funnel campaigns—setting goals, budgets, targeting, and briefing high-performing creatives
  • align with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns support broader brand and product objectives.
  • collaborate closely with strategy, analytics, and creative teams to deliver integrated, high-performing campaigns.

content creation & publishing

  • develop platform-specific content that’s bold, trend-aware, and on-brand—across static, video, and ephemeral formats.
  • lead monthly and weekly content calendar planning for 2 cpg brands across instagram, tiktok, pinterest, facebook, and more.
  • guide caption writing and social-first storytelling, collaborating with team members to craft engaging, voice-driven copy.
  • manage scheduling and publishing using tools like brandwatch, sprout or planoly to ensure timely, strategic rollout.
  • write creative briefs and collaborate with designers, copywriters, and editors to deliver platform-perfect assets.

community engagement

  • lead daily community management—responding to dms, comments, and tags in a timely, on-brand voice.
  • identify real-time engagement opportunities and insert brands into cultural moments with personality and relevance.

performance & reporting

  • track and analyze content and campaign performance, using insights to optimize in real time.
  • create clear, compelling reports that tell the story behind the numbers and recommend next steps.
  • oversee launches and daily performance—adjusting bids, budgets, and creative to hit kpis.

creative innovation and trendspotting

  • pitch and produce original short-form video ideas that feel native, human, and brand-right.
  • bring fresh thinking to every platform while staying rooted in what performs.
  • stay ahead of platform trends and cultural shifts, identifying opportunities to activate in real time.

leadership & client partnership

  • manage and mentor junior team members, providing clear guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • lead day-to-day client communications, presenting strategies, reports, and creative ideas with confidence and clarity.

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing (agency or in-house), with a strong preference for food & beverage or cpg clients
  • proven ability to lead content paid strategy across multiple social platforms, particularly Meta and TikTok
  • strong copywriting and editing skills with a knack for capturing a distinct brand voice.
  • familiarity with social media analytics tools and an understanding of how to leverage data to inform strategy.
  • personable, highly motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, an excellent multi-tasker, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, open environment that’s driven by deadlines
  • excellent communicator who can juggle priorities and keep internal client teams in sync
  • creative thinker with an analytical streak (you love a good brainstorm and a good dashboard)
  • experience managing junior team members and helping them grow in their roles
  • experience with CapCut, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.
  • personal hobby of photo, graphic design or video is a plus!
