Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Respiratory Therapist at our New Hope, MN location. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders and other related respiratory conditions. Responsibilities include providing hands-on respiratory therapy, assisting patients in utilizing medical equipment, offering patient education on proper use and maintenance, and supporting other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care. The role may also involve working with patients requiring neonatal intensive care and assisting with relevant clinical tasks.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care practices
- Experience in Respiratory Therapy and patient-focused care
- Knowledge of Neonatal Intensive Care and related practices
- Background in Medicine and healthcare best practices
- Strong communication, training, and patient-education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Requires state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist and completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Experience with durable medical equipment, specifically in CPAP treatment, is an asset
