Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making coffee / tea, cooking soups, setting up displays, condiment station setup, and front of house setup
- Performs duties of cashier such as operation and cash flow, verify initial cash, and answer phone.
- Makes beverages, keeps front of house stocked, frosts cakes, cuts bars / brownies, empties trash at end of shift or as required.
- Assists with cleanup / sweeping / mops as required.
- May substitute for Expo or bussing if trained.
Roles:
- Provide excellent customer service by informing guests of any menu changes
- Make recommendations as needed, answer guest questions about food (and potential food allergies), beverages and other restaurant services
- Responsible for full cycle food service; take and deliver all food and Espresso beverage orders to the customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure that guests are satisfied with their order and respond promptly to any requests
- Perform specific side-work tasks and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Knowledge of restaurant's food and beverage preparation standard.
