Full-time, set weekday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical service, repairs, and installations for residential jobs (running circuits, lighting, panels, and code-compliant upgrades).
- Inspect, repair, upgrade, and replace electrical panels and service equipment.
- Conduct comprehensive electrical inspections for safety and code compliance in residential homes, identifying issues like outdated panels, wiring problems, and grounding deficiencies.
- Diagnose electrical problems using multimeters and appropriate tools.
- Excellent communication with customers.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with current Oregon electrical codes and PDX Electric's high standards for safety, quality, and professionalism.
- Maintain clean, organized job sites; provide excellent customer service; accurately document work performed; and support our commitment to transparent, upfront communication with every customer.
- Support other departments on their jobs requiring electrical support.
- Valid driver’s license
- Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician License
- 5 years of residential electrical experience
- Solid knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, panels, and current Oregon electrical codes
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent internal and external communication
