Cornell University welcomes candidates for the position of Temporary Reunion Van Driver in our Alumni Affairs and Development division, based in Ithaca, NY. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to Reunion 2026.


Position Summary

Friendly, professional, and reliable drivers will assist with alumni and staff transportation during Reunion from Wednesday, June 3 through Sunday, June 7 (5 days only/35-45 hours). As a driver, you will be essential in providing excellent service and ensuring smooth transportation for our guests.

If hired, a brief online driver safety training will need to be completed and drivers will need to register with Cornell Fleet Services and complete a Driver Release Form.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport alumni, staff, and guests to various locations across campus and the Ithaca community
  • Provide a courteous and positive experience for all passengers
  • Operate a seven-passenger minivan or SUV

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Familiarity with Cornell’s campus and the Ithaca area
  • Ability to drive a seven-passenger minivan or SUV safely

Position Details

  • 35-45 hours of work over the five-day period
  • Work days are Wednesday, June 3 through Sunday, June 7

Starting pay $22.70
