What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Mfg. Production Workers position at Cornaby's Specialty Foods?
Be a part of a fast-growing, local, SQF-Certified food manufacturer and a member of "Utah's Own". We produce high-quality items for retail grocery, foodservice, co-pack and private-label. Looking for 4 dependable, committed individuals. Positions are Full-Time, 6a.m. to 4:30p.m., Bi-lingual English/Spanish helpful but not required. Previous food handling/production experience helpful but not required. We are interviewing now for positions to start immediately. This position involves various tasks on a production line in a modern food processing facility, manufacturing jams, sauces, fruit fillings, syrups, etc., as well as dry-mixing.
Responsibilities:
- Work in various positions on wet and/or dry production lines.
- Ensure food products meet required quality and safety standards.
- Support all other production functions, including working in production staging and pulling & preparing ingredients and materials.
- May fill out production paperwork and prepare reports.
- Perform daily cleaning of production facility & equipment.
- Exemplify all Company safety rules & regulations.
- Assist with packaging of final product.
- Perform other related tasks as required.

- Ability to take and pass a food handler’s certification test within 30 days.

Position Type and Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm. However, times may fluctuate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be E-Verifiable
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic, proven hard work in production.
- Food production experience a plus.
- Shop floor conditions: standing, lifting, operating equipment, loud, and various temperatures.
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Friendly, flexible, dependable, and professional.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Frequent use of hands, reaching and bending
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
