Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, IV, and other treatments following strict aseptic techniques and nursing home protocols.
- Monitor patients’ physiological status using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures including laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and catheterizations.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and medication regimens.
Skills
- Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems.
- Proficiency in specialized nursing procedures including IV insertion, tube feeding management, catheter care, sterile processing, and ostomy care.
- Experience working with people with disabilities or developmental delays; providing compassionate long-term care in nursing homes.
- Competence in infection control practices and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
