Corley Plumbing Air Electric is a locally founded home services company providing residential and light commercial plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and electrical service and repair across the Greenville and Upstate SC area. Position Overview

The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating technicians’ schedules, maximizing daily revenue, and ensuring an excellent customer experience on every service call. The role is full-time on-site in Greenville, SC, supporting plumbing, HVAC, and electrical technicians in the field.

• Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, schedule appointments, and accurately enter and update customer information.
• Evaluate customer calls and assign the right technician to each service appointment using a “right tech, right call” approach.
• Monitor and manage technicians’ locations, schedules, and needs throughout the day to meet daily revenue and sold-hour goals.
• Relay clear and accurate information to technicians to support efficient, high-quality service and positive customer experiences.
• Maintain professional customer rapport, respond to requests, resolve issues, and reinforce the company brand to encourage repeat business.
• Proactively update customers on technician status, schedule changes, and progress throughout the day.
• Review call boards, follow approved call scripts, and consider technician performance metrics (such as conversion rates/“tech scores”) when dispatching.
• Provide solutions for technician emergencies or schedule disruptions, including rescheduling and communicating changes to customers and the customer service team.
• Track and update daily reports, including monitoring local weather that could affect scheduled jobs.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve customer care, sales awareness, and dispatch efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with a proven record of delivering strong service.
• Ability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.
• Computer proficient, including accurate typing and comfort with multi-line phone systems and dispatching/CRM tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with strong follow-through.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build trust with both customers and technicians.​
• Ability to diffuse conflict, remain calm under pressure, and hold others accountable to schedules and processes.
• Engaging, positive attitude that fits a fast-paced, goal-driven environment; highly motivated and flexible.
• Prior dispatching or service coordination experience in home services, logistics, or similar environments is a plus.
