What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weld Department Crane Operator-2nd Shift position at CORLE BUILDING SYSTEMS?
Corle Building Systems is an IAS accredited (USA) and CSA-A660 (Canada) certified manufacturer of pre-engineered steel building systems. We design and manufacture rigid frame clear span and multiple span buildings of all sizes.
Due to continued growth, we have an immediate need for a Crane Operator in our Welding Department on 2nd Shift.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a traveling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads using hoisting attachments such as hooks and slings.
- Observes load hookup, and determines the safety of the load.
- Manipulates or depresses crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE experience in operating overhead cranes and forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Attention to detail
