Corle Building Systems is an IAS accredited (USA) and CSA-A660 (Canada) certified manufacturer of pre-engineered steel building systems. We design and manufacture rigid frame clear span and multiple span buildings of all sizes.
Due to continued growth, Corle Building Systems is looking for a Design Engineer to join our team!
Civil Design Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design of metal building systems in compliance with building codes and specifications using multiple software packages
- Provide effective and economical solutions to challenges on various types of projects such as churches, airplane hangars, sports complexes, retail and industrial buildings
- Manage multiple projects through the engineering process by effectively communicating with customers and teammates from other departments
- Assist sales in the bidding and estimating process of metal building projects
- Represent Corle Building Systems as an engineering resource in sales meetings with customers
Civil Design Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering (not Mechanical) from an ABET-Accredited Institution is required
- Experience with using MBS software preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Knowledge of building codes such as IBC, AISC, ASCE-7, and AISI preferred
License or certifications:
- EIT certificate preferred
