Corkery Transport Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Semi Van Trailer Mechanic / Technician. Qualified applicants must possess and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of major trailer components, electrical systems, trailer body work and preventative maintenance. Strong communication, analytical and basic computer skills required. Must have own tools. This is a full-time position. Wage will be based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform tire services.
- Perform basic electrical repairs.
- Perform minor repairs.
- Perform brake services.
- Perform trailer body work repairs.
- Perform CSA/DOT inspections.
- Perform wheel end/seal services.
- Maintain work logs, compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
- Practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Adhere to all Safety Policies.
- Reporting for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
- Air Brake Certification.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Complete Level 4 brake training.
- Complete Level 4-wheel seal training.
- Must have reliable transportation and phone.
- Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
