Wine Sales Associate — Corkdorks Midtown
Corkdorks Wine, Spirits, Beer is Nashville's go-to shop for people who actually care about what's in the bottle. We're hiring a full-time Wine Sales Associate for our Midtown store, and we're looking for someone who can walk a customer from "I need something for dinner tonight" to the right bottle without missing a beat.
This isn't an entry-level role. We want someone with real wine experience who's ready to be the person customers ask for by name.
Pay: $15–$20/hour, based on experience
What you'll do:
- Guide customers through our wine selection and make recommendations they'll come back for
- Help curate and merchandise the wine floor
- Work the register and the sales floor
- Taste with reps, learn what's new, and share it with the team
- Keep shelves stocked, faced, and looking sharp
What we're looking for:
- 1 years of wine experience (retail, restaurant, tasting room, distributor — all count)
- Working knowledge of major regions, varietals, and producers
- Comfort talking about wine without being a snob about it
- Strong customer service instincts and a team-first attitude
- Reliable and on time
- Available nights and weekends (this is retail, those are our busy shifts)
- WSET, CMS, or similar certifications a plus but not required
