Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Sales Account Executive are to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client accounts. This role operates with a high degree of independence and requires a self-motivated, results-driven individual with proven sales experience to effectively represent Corkboard Concepts’ marketing and digital advertising solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial mindset and operate with a level of ownership and accountability as if building their own book of business. They should consistently demonstrate professionalism and industry knowledge in all interactions, including in-person meetings, email communication, and social media engagement.
This role requires a strong foundation in advertising sales and marketing, including prospecting, pipeline development, opportunity management, and strategic consultation on campaigns and initiatives. The candidate should be comfortable balancing high-level strategy with detailed execution and cross-functional collaboration.
This Position Will Require The Following:
- Conduct daily outbound prospecting through in-person meetings, phone calls, email, and social channels
- Schedule and manage appointments with prospective and existing clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with campaign managers, operations, and creative teams to support client success
- Provide consistent weekly reporting on activity, pipeline, and progress
- Oversee order processing, campaign launch coordination, billing, and receivables as needed
- Continuously pursue learning opportunities, certifications, and industry knowledge to stay current
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum: 2 years of sales experience; 3 years preferred
- Minimum: Strong foundational knowledge of marketing and digital advertising, with the expectation of achieving full cross-channel fluency within the first 90 days of employment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (this role requires travel at least 50% of the time)
