What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Floor Manger position at Cork Wine Bar & Market?
Cork Wine Bar & Markets, a comfortable and award-winning local neighborhood restaurant, wine and specialty food company.
Bartender / Bar Manager – Wine Lovers Wanted!
Cork Wine Bar & Markets isn’t just a restaurant – it’s your friendly neighborhood hangout for great food, killer wines, and some cocktails that make you go “wow.” We’ve got two buzzing spots (soon to be three!), and we’re on the hunt for a bartender with management chops who can keep the vibe flowing both at the bar and in our wine shops.
Why you’ll love it here:
- Show off your cocktail skills – we’ve got a program, but you’ll get to put your own spin on it.
- Dive deep into wine – especially Old World bottles (yep, France, Italy, Spain – the good stuff).
- Grow your leadership muscles – manage bar and floor duties, and share your know-how with the crew.
- Be the guest favorite – we love team players who can chat with regulars, guide customers in our retail shop, and make everyone feel welcome.
What you’ll be doing:
- Mixing drinks that make people come back for more.
- Running the bar like a pro – from inventory to floor support.
- Helping guests pick out that perfect bottle to take home.
- Setting the tone with your energy, hospitality, and team spirit.
- Playing a leadership role in our organization.
- Managing bar and floor operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff support.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ve spent solid time behind the bar and in a set of manager’s shoes too.
- You know your way around a wine list and a cocktail shaker.
- You’re the kind of person who can juggle a busy night with a smile.
- Teaching, learning, and sharing knowledge with your team? That’s your jam.
If you’re ready to shake, stir, pour, and manage with style – we’d love to meet you.
