The Role
As the Assistant Manager you will assist in overseeing all front of house operations at the restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through strong leadership, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to hospitality. This role requires an elevated level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for fine food, wine, and service.
· Assist with all front-of-house operations including but not limited to; hiring/training staff, supporting all FOH positions, ability to run and assist expedition window during service.
· Excellent teamwork ability
· Consistently maintain a warm, inviting, and positive dining experience for guests
· Work closely with all other managers including the Executive Chef
· Manage and lead servers, bartenders, hosts/ hostess and support staff.
· Closing procedures at the end of shift including but not limited to; closing registers, counting and handling money, completing the end of shift paperwork and procedures, assuring staff has completed closing duties.
What We Are Looking For
· 3-5 years of management experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
· Background in wine, spirits, and craft brews
· Diverse and progressive interest in food with knowledge in scratch cooking
· Ability to stand and walk for long period of time
· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
· Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to always remain level-headed
· Experience with a Toast POS system and ability to use computers and email
