Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for inmates referred by medical or clinical services staff
- Provide psychiatric services for inpatients, including assessment, diagnosis, staffing, treatment planning, and regular review of all inmates assigned
- Act as regular psychiatrist and participate in treatment programming and planning for the Mental Health Unit
- Approve all admissions and discharges into the Mental Health Unit
