About Corinthian Capital Partners

Corinthian Capital Partners is a private equity holding company that acquires, operates, and grows professional and business services companies. Our portfolio includes entities across IT staffing, legal services, translation, and international operations. We move fast, run lean, and give our team direct exposure to deal execution, integration, and multi-entity finance in a way that simply isn’t possible at a larger organization.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for your assigned subsidiary and the company as a whole. You will be a key contributor to the month-end close process, maintain ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for your assigned subsidiary, and serve as a collaborative partner to the rest of the Finance team, Accounts Payable, and Collections. You will also have direct exposure to M&A activity — supporting due diligence, integration, and transaction accounting alongside senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close

  • Actively participate in all aspects of the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion in accordance with the close calendar.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals, prepaid amortization, and reclassifications.
  • Investigate and resolve variances between actual results and budget/forecast; provide explanations to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for internal stakeholders.
  • Review gross margins by project and calculate monthly commissions.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

  • Own and maintain comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations for all assigned subsidiary accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure all reconciling items are identified, documented, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Continuously improve reconciliation processes, templates, and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Daily Journal Entries & General Ledger Maintenance

  • Record and post daily journal entries accurately and in accordance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Monitor general ledger activity for unusual transactions or miscodings and initiate correcting entries as needed.
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready supporting documentation for all entries recorded.

Accounts Payable & Collections Support

  • Partner with the Accounts Payable team to ensure vendor invoices are properly coded, approved, and processed in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with AP aging reviews, payment runs, and vendor statement reconciliations as needed.
  • Support the Collections team by providing account analysis and assistance in reconciliations of customer balances.

Mergers & Acquisitions — Growth Opportunity

Corinthian Capital Partners actively acquires and integrates companies, and this role offers direct exposure to the full deal lifecycle alongside senior leadership. You will build real transaction accounting experience that most accounting professionals don’t encounter until much later in their careers.

  • Support financial due diligence activities, including analysis of target company financials, quality of earnings (QoE), normalization adjustments, and identification of accounting risks.
  • Prepare deal-specific workpapers, financial models, and pro forma financial statements to support purchase price negotiations and decision-making.
  • Assist with post-close activities including opening balance sheet entries, purchase price allocation schedules, and working capital peg true-up calculations.
  • Support the integration of acquired entities, including establishing accounting policies, chart of accounts alignment, and onboarding into the company’s close processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting background strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • CPA designation or active CPA candidacy strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth company environment.
  • Exposure to M&A due diligence, acquisition integrations, and purchase accounting (ASC 805).

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary ($80,000 - $90,000) and performance-based bonus program.
  • Direct access to senior leadership and visibility across the full business — not just one department or entity.
  • Hands-on M&A and transaction accounting experience from day one, working alongside leadership on live deals.
  • Cross-portfolio exposure across multiple operating companies and industries.
  • Real career trajectory in a growing private equity platform — this role grows with the company.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Hybrid work flexibility.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
