The Corinth Central School District is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Teacher to support students at the Middle School level.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Teaching Certification in one of the following:
- General Special Education K–12
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 7–12)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 1–6)
- Experience providing services as a Direct Consultant Teacher and Resource Program at the middle school level is preferred.
- Strong commitment to collaboration with related service providers, general education teachers, families, and support staff.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized instructional strategies that support student success.
Responsibilities
- Provide special education services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver instruction through Direct Consultant Teacher and Resource Program models as assigned.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers to support inclusive educational practices.
- Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and achievement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, flexibility, teamwork, and a student-centered approach to instruction.
Salary per CTA Contract
