Catering Team Leader Job Description:
Tacos 4 Life Grill is looking for leaders who want to be part of a fast growing and vital part of our company! Your primary responsibility will be the leadership of daily catering operations in your restaurant. You, along with your fellow servers, will ensure the successful delivery of catering orders. All members of the catering team are responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests throughout our community! Catering Team Leader Job Duties:
- Arrive on time to prepare for orders each day. The Team Leader should be the first catering server on site.
- Understand all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for catering and prepare orders accordingly
- Delegate preparation responsibilities to other servers daily
- Ensure all orders leave the store on time with all materials included – you are the last line of defense
- Train and certify new catering team members
- Communicate with the kitchen in advance concerning preparation and timelines of orders
- Take inventory of all supplies – communicate with leaders to order more as needed
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of all catering supplies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to multi-task
- Great organizational skills
- Works well under stress and hard deadlines
- Exceptional customer service, especially when dealing with varying guest situations and complaints
- Prior experience in catering preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance, excellent driving record
Work Conditions & Details:
- Part Time/Full Time position (depending on location), primarily mornings
- Early mornings, evenings and weekends may be required.
