Job Summary
The Landscape Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Landscape Project Manager in the successful planning, execution, and completion of landscape projects. This position involves assisting with project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication among project stakeholders. The Assistant Project Manager contributes to quality control efforts, helps manage project documentation, and aids in addressing challenges as they arise. With a solid grasp of landscape design principles and project management practices, the role supports the overall project team in achieving project goals while maintaining high standards of efficiency, organization, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing up-to-date project timelines and planning ahead.
- Expertly assisting in planning, executing, and completing multiple landscape projects.
- Communicating with the office, foremen, the field, contractors, and suppliers in an effective and timely manner.
- Skillfully maintaining and organizing all project and information documentation in Excel, OneDrive Google Suite, email, and hard copies.
- Ensure that all projects are completed within the projected budget and timeline.
- Attending onsite project meetings.
- Professionally representing the company when on-site, communicating over the phone, or over email.
- Familiarity with interpreting plans, specs, RFIs, and construction documents generated by Architects, General Contractors, and Vendors.
- Efficiently sourcing any materials and/or needs for all projects.
- Be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment ensuring all safety procedures are implemented on-site.
- Demonstrate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Suite, OneDrive, and more.
- Professional and courteous communication with all internal and external customers and staff, both written and verbally.
- Bilingual is a plus. (Spanish)
Valid Driver's License Required
