Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Senior Auditor to join the firm as part of our Accounting team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities
- Support internal and external audits (domestic and international) by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff and interns involved in the governance functions and supporting the accounting team.
- Perform reviews of current processes and controls across transaction cycles to assess risk and identify areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure proper documentation and financial accuracy of financial transactions.
- Assist in developing and documenting standard operating procedures, accounting policies, and process and control narratives.
- Assist in timely and accurate tax filings and payments, including federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with external audit and tax service providers and oversee execution and fulfillment of requests.
- Help support Accounting and Company leadership with ad hoc requests.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives related to accounting and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of accounting experience, or 3 years public accounting experience.
- CPA required
- Knowledge and experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong project management skills
- Deltek VantagePoint experience a plus
This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
