We are looking for a summer intern to join our Dallas-based communications team. The team is comprised of passionate communicators each with a focus area including internal communication, digital and social media, and external communications and media relations.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Assist with the development of internal communications materials
- Help generate content associated with strategic social media targets, developing plans, creating and scheduling posts for publishing on various platforms
- Analyze, suggest and make website updates
- Work within Muck Rack, our media management and monitoring software to create media lists, monitor for specific coverage and create reports
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to craft compelling project stories
- Prepare external media materials
What You Need:
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing is required, along with a desire to work in a dynamic firm with a team-focused energetic atmosphere
- Possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication.
- Excels in relationship building, intra-personal skills and collaboration.
- Emphasizes proactivity, resourcefulness, and the ability to multi-task within overlapping deadlines.
- Previous experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry is a bonus!
