What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Corfini Gourmet?
The Customer Service Representative works with customers to deliver on what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. This role will also assist and support the Purchaser with additional tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities are as follow:
· Answer phones and emails, take orders, and resolve customer questions
· Upsell, offering alternatives to move items on the push list
· Update customer contact information and seek new ways to become efficient
· Control all customer complaints and issues; follow up with customer to ensure resolution
· Support the sales team with pricing, cost, and item information
· Manage House accounts
· Produce and email product daily price list
· Upload Seafood and Peterson price lists
· Make outgoing calls
· Create new product codes
· Other duties as required to support the company
Required Knowledge and Skills:
· Ability to communicate and interact with all employees, managers, and customers
· Ability to remain calm, professional, and unbiased towards all employees, managers, and customers
· Ability to deal with multiple phone lines while maintain a high level of customer service
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Advanced computer literacy (EIC, Canopy, Word, Excel)
· Detail Oriented
· Demonstrated Product Knowledge and experience in F&B
· Positive attitude under stressful situations
Physical Requirements
· Ability to sit for long periods throughout shift
