Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Hardwood Flooring Installer & to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, refinishing, and restoring hardwood floors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Install hardwood flooring with precision, following technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate placement and finish.
• Perform floor refinishing, buffing, water damage restoration, and floor care to restore existing flooring to optimal condition.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively for tasks such as tile laying, vinyl floor installation, epoxy floor application, and caulking.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and coordinate installation processes accordingly.
• Handle manual tasks including lifting building materials, trimming carpentry, fixture installation, cabinet installation, and remodeling projects.
• Follow building installation safety compliance protocols consistently across all construction sites.
• Assist with other construction-related activities such as concrete finishing, painting, restoration projects, and handyman tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in flooring installation including hardwood floors, vinyl floors, tile laying, epoxy applications, and floor refinishing.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics relevant to flooring projects.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
• Construction site experience with a focus on building material installation and safety compliance.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and floor care practices is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret construction plans accurately.
• Valid experience or certifications in carpentry, handyman work, or related fields will be considered an asset.

Pay: $120.00 - $200.00 per day
