Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. we are looking for 1-2 cashiers to fill our shifts. weekend days are a must

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate cash registers and manage cash handling with accuracy.
• Process transactions using POS systems, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
• Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and store policies to provide informed assistance.
• Perform stock duties including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
• Conduct product demos to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer experience.
• Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to product knowledge and customer service.
