Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for removing medical waste, trash and linens. They will perform interim and restorative maintenance of the health system's hard floor, carpets and upholstery according to procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to established procedures
- Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams
- Perform interim and restorative maintenance on hard floor, carpets and upholstery according to procedures
- Assemble, maintain and store equipment/supplies necessary to complete tasks according to department standards
- Report general maintenance and specialized cleaning requirements in work area
- Assist visitors and employees in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination
