What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Associate position at Corewell Health?
- Provides transportation for employees, guests and community groups to and from various locations.
- Performs limited maintenance and care of department vehicles and equipment. Notifies supervisor of anticipated repair needs as appropriate.
- Uses the radio/cell phone to appropriately communicate with dispatch and other shuttle drivers while in route.
- Monitors parking area and grounds for suspicious activity or hazards and reports them to the appropriate department.
- Ensures appropriate documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with regulations and department policy.
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age Required
- Must have excellent driving record Required
- 6 months of relevant experience Preferred
- Must be 25 years of age for Valet Required
- LIC-Drivers License - Endorsement P (Passenger) - State_MI State of Michigan Exclude Mission Control 30 Days required
