Key Responsibilities
- Examine Public Records: Analyze deeds, mortgages, liens, easements, judgments, and probate records to establish a clear chain of title.
- Prepare Commitments: Draft accurate title commitments and reports in accordance with company and underwriter guidelines.
- Resolve Issues: Identify defects and encumbrances, proactively working with internal closing teams, underwriters, and lenders to formulate curative solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience examining titles.
- Core Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech: Knowledge of Qualia software platform (preferred).
