What You Will Do
- Lead part qualification activities through APQP/PPAP processes, ensuring supplier processes meet high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable standards for regulatory compliance.
- Review supplier process flows, control plans, and risk assessments to ensure robust and repeatable manufacturing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and production teams to qualify new parts, assemblies, and raw materials.
- Ensure supplier quality systems meet requirements before production release, providing feedback and guidance for gap closure.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as delivery metrics, PPM rates, and scorecards.
- Drive accountability during supplier business reviews and lead corrective/preventive action plans.
- Support continuous improvement of supplier quality performance.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering within medical, aerospace, or automotive industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools such as:
- PPAP, APQP
- FMEA
- SPC
- 8D
- Six Sigma
- MSA
- Experience with manufacturing and production engineering processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
