Corestaff is the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America for contractor positions operating and managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. The candidate selected for this role will be an employee of Corestaff with a placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.
Assist the Porsche Communities Manager and Manager, Brand Strategy & Partnerships with evaluating, planning, executing and tracking community, sports, brand partnership, and sponsorship events and activations for Porsche Cars North America (PCNA). Support in the development and execution of the Communities and Sports strategy, tracking assets and deliverables and reporting ROI/KPIs. This role will also manage several administrative functions, including vehicle logistics, event management and finance/accounting processes. This position will also support with administrative function as needed and will engage and collaborate with various internal departments and external partners to ensure that all event programs follow company directives, remain within budgetary constraints, and adhere to Porsche brand standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the Porsche Communities Manager with the day-to-day coordination and contractual fulfillment for partnerships and sponsorships, including relationship development, tracking/measurement/ROI, presentations/recaps, prospect/lead generation – while maintaining a priority focus on the PCNA’s marketing and sales objectives
- Support with the planning and execution of the area events on an annual basis including, but not limited to venue contracting, hotel contracting and rooming list management, attendee communications, staffing, and on-site support.
- Assist in the facilitation of all aspects of PCNA’s Sports event planning, including relationship management, vendor negotiation, vehicle logistics, budgeting, marketing and PR messaging and campaigns, on-site, staffing, lead capture and post-event reporting
- Manage all vehicle fleet needs to support Communities and Sports events – including inventory management, scheduling, transport, billing, repairs, on-site logistics, etc.
- Provide administrative support through meeting preparation, ordering/packing/shipping supplies and event materials, executing purchase orders and triple-bidding all supplier vendors per PCNA’s procurement and finance guidelines, routing documents for signatures, event ticket packages, etc.
- Track and report budget expenditures for Communities and Sports, process final invoices from suppliers, and assist Managers in end of the year financial accruals.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors/suppliers as it relates to vehicle transport and detailing, staff management, event flow, marketing materials, security, environment cleaning and other event services like floral and catering.
- Manage travel, lodging, and expenses for themselves and larger groups via company travel/expense systems and directly with contracted hotels
- Assist in execution of partnership and sponsorship events within time and budgetary constraints, while delivering results that meet or exceed expectations
- Ad hoc support in one-off events requests
- Required travel is up to 50%
- Must be able to lift 15lb
- Must be willing to work long hours including evenings and weekends
Education:
4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field/experience
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on events, trade shows, and motorsports
- Experience collaborating cross-departmentally and ideating, managing, planning and executing large-scale projects
- An understanding and working knowledge of events
- An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
- A track record of thoughtful execution of innovative ideas
- Experience managing third-party vendors and on-site logistics
Salary : $56,000 - $59,000
